When I first met Stephanie at a wedding fayre, I really loved her vision for her wedding flowers, so when Stephanie & Ben came into the shop for a consultation, I was over the moon when they chose me to create their very special flowers. 
Stephanie knew from the very beginning what flowers she wanted and the Rainbow Rose was to take centre stage. 
The colours were fabulous next to the teal blue bridesmaids dresses. We had great fun choosing all the varieties, and I think to date this is the most varieties I have used in a bouquet so far !
We had such an array of styles, shapes and colour's, getting it perfectly right was essential ! So the final selection was Rainbow roses, thistles, two tone lisianthus, craspedia, alchemila molis, wax flower, orange spray roses, germini's , belladonna and gloriosa.

Carden Park was the fabulous venue for Stephanie and Ben's day , Off the cuff menswear provided the stunning Welsh Tartan that Ben and Groomsmen wore. 
When it came to the buttonhole's Stephanie's fabulous bubbly personality certainly came through on the all the theme! as she chose a very special darth vader lego man for Ben and Groomsmen had Storm troopers  with their thistles and tartan 

Stephanie's mum also had a fabulous rainbow rose wrist corsage .

Stephanie wanted all the guest's to enjoy the brightly coloured flowers too, and bringing them into the table centre's, so with the candleabra's provided by Carden Park , we entwined them with ivy garlands , rainbow roses, gloriosa, thistle, roses, wax flower and spray roses.
The top table had an arrangement in similar theme and the cakes looked fabulous with hand made iced flowers in all the colours and a family member had hand painted a gorgeous flowers on a single cake. The room looked fabulous. 

A big thank you to Stephanie for sending in a few fun images for us to show and we managed to get some lovely shot's before she went to meet Ben at St Paul's church Isycoed, arriving in a truck driven by her Dad !! Bespoked cars were also on hand for the rest of the wedding party . 

Our Blog doesn't end here though..... Stephanie had another surprise this year when we announced that she was picked as our Bride of 2015 !  We were over the moon, as I had not only enjoyed creating Stephanie's fabulous flowers but also working with such a wonderful couple , so our Thank you is for Stephanie for choosing such an amazing theme and asking us to provide them for her , and being able to share them with you all . x

Ria's choice of flowers were absolutely stunning, and perfect for a beautiful summers day. 

The combination Ria chose take your breath away !  Soft pink Sweet avalanche roses, with white akito roses, white spray roses and using soft textures of million stars gyp, white astranthia and the fabulous scabious pods, the whole combination looked stunning. The bridesmaids had similar bouquets without the white roses. 

The Cross lanes Hotel has a stunning function room that is beautiful for a summers day , and the room certainly was transformed with the flowers that Ria had chosen, arranged around the horseshoe shaped table with Ria's  glass candle sticks between the vases. 

Leanne seemed destined to use me as her florist ! 
On the weekend she told her Fiance that she wanted to come to our shop to get ideas and had booked a consultation, but they happened to be in Barmouth at the time ,& bumped into my "in laws" and got chatting with them  & mentioned they were getting married! My Mother in law told her to pop to see me not realizing that they had already booked to see me ! So from that moment she knew she had to book me !! 
It was a pleasure to do Leanne's flowers, she wanted to go a little different to most brides with her choice of flowers, and the venue was the fabulous Bodelwyddan  church and onto the gorgeous Deganwy Quays Hotel overlooking fabulous views. 

Leanne chose a traditional shower bouquet with fabulous two tone calla lilys , roses and gyp. with accents of two tone lisisanthus. singapore orchids, roses and trailing ivy.

Leanne's Bridemaids were a simple design of Bristol fairy Gypsophilia with two tone lisisanthus matching the theme perfectly, with the groom having a two tone calla lily buttonhole and the Cream for the rest of the wedding party. 

The venue for Leanne's special day was the Fabulous Deganwy Quays Hotel

When Bethany came into the shop and told me her ideas for her special day, I knew I would be in for a treat !! 
Bethany was a florist's dream ! Not only was she totally organised , even down to putting little stickers onto all the vases she had collected for the table ! but making some of the most beautiful paper flowers I have ever seen !! 

Because of the beauty and simplicity of the paper roses they didn't need an over complicated selection of flowers, so we decided on very simple delicate white peonies  and barbados spray roses to add a touch of colour. the Bridesmaids had simple million stars gypsophilia with spray roses. 

The buttonholes were also simple with the Groom having a touch of coral spray roses and gyp and rest of the party plain with gyp. Bethany's complimentary wrist corsage had the spray roses and gyp.

Bethany's choice of Venue  The Tower Hill Barns was the perfect choice for the style of flowers, with the neutral colours and exposed beams, creating a picturesque scene.  
As you will see I simply couldn't stop taking photos of all the flowers !! each table was unique due to Bethany's choice of old fashioned cut glass vases, all displayed on simple silver trays with doilies . 

But...Bethany's Wedding  did not end here !! 
On Route to the Venue  the car taking the Bridesmaid's and Bethany's Mum broke down ! 
Leaving the resourceful Bridesmaids to "thumb a lift" and a very busy dual carriage way A483 !  

It worked! The day was saved when a very kind and helpful passing driver slowed down to pick up all four of the women and drop them safely at Tower Hill Barns just in the nick of time. The bride’s father managed to reward the driver’s kindness quickly with a bottle of bubbly before she drove away, identified only as Bethan.
So after the wedding Bethany set out to Find the Kind hearted lady who saved the day ! so she could thank her personally.  
Within no time at all the post went viral on social media and the lovely Bethan was tracked down, and Bethany found herself with her lovely bridesmaid, Mum and Saviour Bethan on daytime Tv !! What a wonderful Happy ending , and a fabulous memory for you wedding day !!
